This course discusses the relation of philosophy with the national education philosophy and principles of Rukun Negara. The use of philosophy as a tool to purify the culture of thought in life through the art and method of thinking as well as the concept of human beings. Major topics which are epistemology, metaphysics and ethics are discussed in the context of current issues. Emphasis is given to philosophy as the basis for intercultural dialogue and fostering common values. At the end of this course, students will be able to explain the disciplines of knowledge as a comprehensive body of knowledge and interrelated.
